Our work

Nonprofit organization build

SafeSpace

A program plan, a three-year budget, and a fundraising system that refer to the same numbers.

The situation

A clinical team doing good work carried the fundraising on top of the caseload. The plan lived in a grant application. The budget lived in a spreadsheet nobody trusted.

What we found

Three different versions of the program existed in three documents. Every ask started from a blank page, and no one could say what a funder was paying to produce.

What we built

01The organization brain: programs, history, language, numbers, and decisions in one source of truth
02A program plan naming who is served, what is delivered, by whom, and what success means
03A three-year budget built directly from that plan
04A gift table and donor pipeline underneath the revenue number
05An impact framework with indicators and a reporting rhythm
06A weekly operating rhythm the team runs without us in the room

How it runs now

The pipeline gets worked on a set day each week. Finance is reviewed on another. The board sees the same numbers the staff do.

The result

One source of truth, a live donor pipeline, and a three-year ask instead of an annual scramble.
